Meet The Team

Owner + Lead Therapist

Desyree Dixon, MSW, LCSW-C

Since opening the practice, I have empowered thousands of individuals and couples to overcome the personal obstacles necessary to improve themselves as well as their relationships. By tailoring the diagnostic plan to fit each client's unique needs and goals, I have equipped them with the skills, knowledge and tools necessary to achieve their best life.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are stuck and unable to make the changes they need to move their lives forward. The issues can manifest as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, or loss. I have extensive expertise and a special passion for helping clients struggling with identity issues and identity-based trauma.

I am a regular contributor as a psychological consultant to our local tv stations as well as Entrepreneur.com, Baltimore Business Journal, TV One, WEAA radio, WFBR radio and Marriage.com, where I discuss various topics related to trauma, relationships, self-esteem, depression and anxiety.

Fight on!), where I am conducting research on treatment modalities and frameworks I developed for treating identity-based trauma.

  • I utilize various scientifically proven, highly effective therapeutic modalities including EMDR, BrainSpotting, Gottman Couples Relationship Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Solutions Focused Therapy.
